...but I'm new to the site, hell-bent on stealing a few of these gorgeous little icons [considering I love SGA, House, Desperate Housewives and 4400, interpret 'a few' as 'very many'], and I was wondering what you meant by crediting. I mean,obviously, acknowledging you as the creator of the icons, but where does one do that and how? I don't want to offend anyone by not following protocol...!

don't worry. it's not really a problem as long as you don't claim them as yours.but if you'd like to credit here is how it works: when you upload an icon type by "lj user=maylene_parker" in the comment section (replace " with < and the second " with >). hope that helped.
